IAF AFCAT 01/2026 Batch : Selection Roadmap

The selection process for AFCAT 01/2026 is multi-layered, ensuring only the most capable candidates join the officer cadre. Initially, all applicants must clear the Written Exam. Shortlisted candidates are then invited to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for psychological, group, and leadership tests. For those opting for the Flying Branch, the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) is a mandatory one-time test. The final stages include Document Verification and a comprehensive Medical Examination. Success in all these tiers leads to the final merit list for the course starting in January 2027.
